Event Architecture Premier - Strategic Event Management

The Event Architecture Premier Workshop is an advanced programme on strategic event management level.

This workshop will explore the relationship between strategic and tactical event management applications within the context of event psychological and physiological considerations.

This Workshop is for:

People that have experience of event planning and management and/or who serve on event planning/management committees and wish to acquire insight in the strategic and tactical processes, tools and techniques used in advanced event management today. You will benefit from attending this workshop if you are interested in the following areas of event management:

  • Planning & conducting the business of event management, whether at management or operational decision making level.

  • Benchmarking management and planning tools and techniques against international best practices.

  • Advancement of event planning & management competence.

Workshop Content:

The workshop will be presented in 8 sessions of 1.5 hrs each and will consists of presentations, interactive exercises and practical demonstrations. The following are focus areas in the presentations on:

  • The Event Architecture Philosophy.

  • Event environment and trends.

  • Development of an Event Specification Guide.

  • Project definition and management.

  • The Strategic budget with tool.

  • Event Organizational Structures with tool.

  • Stakeholder analyses and management with tool.

  • Event risk management with tool.

This Workshop Includes:

  • Facilitation by the only CMM (Certified Meeting Manager) in Africa who is also a Certified Meeting Professional, CMP (The mark CMP is licensed under authority of the Convention Industry Council, USA).

  • Comprehensive strategic event management tools on CD Rom.

  • A workshop reference manual.
